I've noticed that in some people's forum set, the text like the text above^ fades into a different color at certain points, and I would very much so like to know how to do that.

If it's fading at certain letters, they might just be changing the colors at each point xD If you see it fades in the middle of a letter or something, I at least do not know of any code that does it. (if anyone does, feel free to enlighten me). Perhaps you are seeing an image?
